PHESC offers Ontario Public Health Unit (PHU) staff a comprehensive training program covering three of the Foundational Standards in the Ontario Public Health Standards: 

1. Population Health Assessment
2. Health Equity
3. Effective Public Health Practice

This training program reflects complementary information from a consultation with Ontario PHUs about the preferred training topics and methods of delivery, and a scoping review of best practices in public health continuing education.
