Health Equity

The priorities that emerged from PHESC's consultation with Ontario Public Health Units in this Foundational Standard were:

  1. Identifying collaborative cross-PHU opportunities for capacity building related to health equity
  2. Cross-sector collaboration related to health equity and intersectionality
  3. Cultural safety, cultural humility, anti-oppression training - Indigenous specific
  4. Cultural safety, cultural humility, anti-oppression training - all priority populations
  5. Integrate health equity into intervention (program and policy) design, implementation and evaluation (including Indigenous Health)
