Introduction to Epidemiology online course now available


PHESC's free Introduction to Epidemiology online course is now open for registrations!

Designed for public health staff who are not epidemiologists, the course walks you through the fundamentals of epidemiology as it pertains to the practice of public health and the various tools, methods, measures and data sources used to evaluate aspects of health in your community. The course takes about three hours to complete and was created in collaboration with APHEO.

NCCMT has updated the Registry of Methods and Tools


The National Collaborating Centre for Methods and Tools has recently updated their Registry of Methods and Tools, home to over 270 evidence-informed decision making methods and tools.   

Changes include a new look for the filters, search results, and resource page, as well as the ability to save a resource to your account to access later or share it with a friend.

This section of the Structural Profile of Public Health in Canada is designed to examine structures dedicated to Indigenous health in Canada.

It provides information on the governmental and paragovernmental structures dedicated to Indigenous health at the provincial or territorial level and at the local/regional level within each province and territory.

Cette section du profil structurel de la santé publique au Canada vise à présenter les structures dédiées à la santé autochtone au Canada.

On y présente de l'information sur les structures gouvernementales et paragouvernementales dédiées à la santé autochtone aux niveaux provincial, territorial et local/régional dans chaque province ou territoire, et au palier fédéral.
