This week: Join the NCCDH-led Community Discussion on addressing the social determinants of problematic substance use

May 13-17, all day, in the Health Equity Clicks: community discussion forum.

Respond to these discussion questions:

  1. What is the role of adverse social determinants of health in contributing to substance use disorders at the population level? Specifically, how have they driven the recent increase in opioid use–related morbidity and mortality?
  2. What preventive actions can public health practitioners take on the social determinants to address the negative impact of substance use on a population level?

Together, let's generate knowledge that can truly advance each other's work in problematic substance use.
